We are a one-stop shop for all things from board games to puzzles, and everything in between, we have something for everyone.

At Checkmate, we believe that gaming and hobbies are a great way to connect with friends and family, and to challenge and engage your mind. Chess Knight

Starting on May 30th and continuing through the summer, we'll be hosting a Casual Chess Knight on Tuesdays @ 4PM. Entry per person is $5 due at sign-up.

MTG: Pauper

Join us on Sunday, June 4th @ 2PM for our Monthly Pauper Tournament. Bring a Magic deck that has only common cards and compete for a chance to be our June Pauper Champion!

Be Excellent Festival of Games

Join us Saturday, June 10th, @ the Franciscan Center at Lourdes University for a day long event offering the opportunity to explore the world of tabletop gaming in Sylvania, Ohio!

Featuring learn to play sessions of new games, old favorites, and vendor booths full of unique treasures to take home!
